I made this sculpture out of carpet samples. Each colour is a different sample that I adhered to a foam core and I lined the back with a nice piece of leather. I had salvaged the carpet samples from 'la poubelle' of a flooring showroom ages ago. I knew these pieces were precious and I wanted to make something special with them. So this is what was made: the arrangement of the circles represent letters in braille and it spells LOVE. I tried teaching myself braille from a braille book that I also found in my dumpster diving. Braille is very hard to learn.
